We made a detour to Destin, FL when we found out the beaches in Crystal River, FL were closed due to some “bird issues” per our hotel clerk there. Holy cow I’m glad we did since, as we discovered, Destin has some of the most amazing beaches either of us has seen. Also, the Donut Hole was a delicious local place open 24 hours…their cinnamon rolls blew Katie’s mind…

We slept in a bit and hit Epcot around lunch, but we made sure to not eat breakfast first so we’d be nice and hungry. We ate and drank our way all the way around Epcot’s World Showcase, that’s 11 countries plus a bonus shot of rum in Haiti. We survived it and lived to enjoy the fireworks later that night. Pics here.
We both agree, so far this was our favorite part of the honeymoon. The instructor was named Wilks and was ecstatic to have another Wilks in the house! He also said Lug proved that the theory larger guys have problem flying just isn’t true because he flew perfectly. See us in flight!

We hit up Universal Studios today and had a blast! Well, Katie had a blast after she got over her motion sickness on the Harry Potter dragon chase ride. Lug assured her it was awesome though. Pics here!
